Greetings Parents and Students,

Hey guys. This will be our last week of assignments on the site. I hope all is well. Things are really going great with the commonlit.org assignments. We have about 35 kids signing on and completing the 4 passages each week. I even got an "I love you" from a student. The new assignments have been uploaded for the week beginning Monday, May 3, 2020.  Please make sure your student is answering the multiple choice as well as the short answer questions. If the student has a message for me, they can feel free to enter it in the space for their short answer, after they have answered the question. I will respond when I grade the passage and send little encouraging messages as well.

Each Sunday night, I will post reading assignments for the week on the Commonlit.org website. Your child can log on each day and complete the daily reading assignment for their homeroom. After the assignment is completed, I will have access to the results and grade any short answer questions. I will also be able to give feedback to your student concerning their progress.

To log onto the website (see the assignments), students need to create an account with a class code. The instructions for creating an account is specific to your child's homeroom. Click on the tab on this website that has your student's homeroom teacher's name and you will find special instructions for your student.
